Exclusive Login
Restart the program, login immediate after Login dialog box appear, to avoid establish
any connection to SQL Server, which may cause the process fail due to 'database is use'.
1. Check Exclusive Login (for Restore / Remove Database) to login
as Local Administrator.
Ensure no user is running the program, include running on any other client.

Open Database Management
From Administration menu, select Database Management.
|
|
Start Restore Master Database
Click Restore Master to start.
|
|
Request to Stop SQL Server
SQL Server need to stop.
|
|
Open SQL Server Menu
Right click SQL Server Service Manager icon to open context menu
|
|
Stop SQL Server
MSSQLServer - Stop.
|
|
Confirm to Proceed
Click
Yes to continue.
If you have more than ONE instance in your system, ensure you stop the correct instance.

Confirm Server Had Stopped
Wait until the
SQL Server Service Manager icon show stop (red square mark).

|
Close Message
Click
OK to continue.

|
Select Master Backup File to Restore
Select which backup file to restore.
|
|
Confirm Restoration
Then click OK to confirm.
|
|
Start SQL Server in Single Mode
Command Prompt windows will start SQL Server in Single Mode.
BEWARE: DO NOT CLOSE THIS WINDOWS

SQL Server Restarted
After SQL Server started, click OK to continue.
|
|
Master Database Restoration Completed
Master Database restoration completed, click OK to finish.

Open SQL Server Menu
Right click
SQL Server Service Manager icon to open context menu
|
|
Start SQL Server
Select
MSSQLServer - Start.
|
|
Quit Database Management
Click Cancel to exit Database Management.
